Mr. Shane Snyder: Retired WTHS Boys/Girls Varsity Head Coach
Recently retired Shane Snyder spent 21 years Coaching Varsity Soccer at Washington Township High School (seven years as the head girls soccer coach (91-40-7) and 14 years as the head boys soccer coach (241-52-19), Snyder tallied his 300th career coaching win during a 4-0 win over Cherry Hill West on October 12, 2021. After leading the girls’ program to two Olympic Conference championships (2006, 2007), he has guided the Minutemen to eight Conference titles, seven South Jersey Group IV titles, three South Jersey Coaches Tournament crowns and incredibly three State Group IV Championships (2014, 2015, 2018). He has never recorded a losing season and has never not had his team qualify for the coaches tournament. Nominated 3-time SJ coach of the year, 2 time NJ state coach of the year, and was selected in 2019 to coach the National HS All American game in Florida.
Mrs. Katie Sachs: WTHS Girls Varsity Head Coach
Coach Sachs was a 2003 WTHS graduate. 2001 she was the unsung hero recipient. 2002 she was the captain and first team All-Conference. Upon graduation she played at Rutgers Camden and was an All–New Jersey Athletic Conference All Star in 2004 and 2006. As a Senior she was a captain and at the time set the school record for most games played (79).
Mr. Jason Snyder: Lindenwold Boys Varsity Head Coach.
Graduate of Pennsauken HS in 1991. Played his collegiate soccer at Rider University and York College. Was all league and captain of his York College soccer team. As a coach he led the Lindenwold Lions program to the only SJ title in school history. 2015 SJ Soccer Coaches Association Coach of the Year.
Mr. Ed McCusker: 2015 WTHS Graduate…2014 NSCAA Regional All American…Two-time All State first team…Two-time SJSCA All SJ Defender of the year….Led WT to a #1 state ranking and #2 National Ranking…played at Saint Joseph’s University….2015 SJU Rookie of the year…2017/2018 Jack Dunn award winner for leadership. Mr. McCusker is currently teaching history at WTHS. Mr. McCusker is currently the JV coach at WTHS and his team won the 2023 JV tournament Championship.
Mr. Dan Marino: 2015 WTHS Graduate…two time captain…all conference… Led WT to a #1 state ranking and #2 National Ranking…. Played at Stockton College….Two time captain…MVP of Stockton Sophomore year….Selected NCAA academic All District ….currently teaching 5th grade Math and Science at Pennsauken Intermediate School…currently JV boys soccer coach at Haddonfield Mermorial HS with a career record of 30-6-9
Mrs. Casey Lubonski: 2016 WTHS Graduate…. 1st Team All American and region 19 defensive player of the year at RCGC. Transferred to Rowan and played at Rowan from 2017 – 2019. Captain of the Rowan women’s soccer team 2019. Currently a Kindergarten teacher at Janvier Elementary school in Franklinville.
Mrs. Patty Stover: 2016 WTHS Graduate. Played at WTHS….Captain and all conference…played club ball for NJ Rush and won states 3 years in a row…played her college soccer at TCNJ and Rowan…All Academic Honorable Mention…currently student teaching 5th grade in PennsGrove
